We've kicked off to great start in each of our sub-clusters. Together with Kristi's schools from Endau, mine from Nitar and Linda's from Bandar Mersing, we have already conducted three great workshops.
Our first workshops focused on
Phonics and Classroom Management. We are certain that by arming the teachers with tools to teach and introduce phonics to their classrooms, their students can soon learn to read and keep up with KSSR curriculum.
Many of our teachers face some kind of Classroom Management challenge. A few have massive classes and cannot discipline or control their classes and the rest struggle to motivate their students. To our delight, lots of teachers have already begun to use reward charts,games and sanctions in their classes which has gone a long way to change classroom behaviour.
