English Carnival

Linda and Kristi were involved in the English Carnival on August 22^nd. Many of our teachers from the current and previous TELL programs were there in a variety of capacities.  It was much smaller than usual due to several date changes and scheduling conflicts, but a lovely event none the-less. Most of the winners were from our current or previous schools.

Linda assisted Sufian at SK Bandar Mersing in several rehearsals for their year 3 action song.  Their first performance was at the closing ceremony of the SMK Science Expo.  They went on to compete against SJK C Chiao Ching at the Primary School English Carnival in Mersing and took first place. (Chiao Ching from our previous TELL program did a fine job as well). SK Bandar Mersing will go on to compete in the action song section of the Johor State Carnival in JB on September 23^rd.
