Hari Raya Celebrations

During the weeks after the Hari Raya Puasa holiday, our SKs celebrated.  And did they celebrate!  Bountiful food was the main theme.  Most of the schools held open house in classrooms, teachers and students went from room to room partaking in the best holiday fare till it was impossible to ingest another morsel.  The rooms were decorated for the occasion, looking lovelier than we’d seen them all year.  As were the students and teachers, eschewing the usual school uniforms and outfits for their colorful holiday best.  A sight to behold!  Of course there were well-rehearsed songs, dances, recitals and performances to enjoy.  A wonderful time was offered up to all.
